Use the payment portal when the goal is to locate an eligible citation, review fine amount, and pay. Use the docket path when the goal is to confirm a court calendar entry. Use the clerk or court contact when the citation is not found, a court appearance is required, a not-guilty plea will be entered, or a failure-to-appear issue may exist.

Pay DeKalb County Traffic Tickets

Payment and contest choices should follow the citation, not a generic court-record search. A payment may resolve an eligible ticket, but some violations require court, carry license consequences, or need a judge's order. The DDS points schedule says Georgia's point system ranges from 2 to 6 points and a driver with 15 points in 24 months will be suspended.

DeKalb County Traffic Record Limits

Traffic records are generally public court records unless a law, court order, juvenile rule, or protected-identifier rule limits access. Georgia's Open Records Act is a fallback for agency records, but court case records are best requested from the clerk or court that maintains the file. O.C.G.A. 35-3-37 record restriction may apply to eligible criminal-history records, but restricting a criminal-history report does not automatically erase every court docket, jail entry, or archived traffic document.
